Fast Track

Previous post update...Oscar's leave got bumped up to June 5. Only a couple of weeks away. I am very excited and happy that I have prepared myself to wait 4 more mts and now I only have to wait 2 weeks to see Oscar. We found out on Friday and it has been total stress since Friday trying to figure it all out. Good news is that it only took one weekend and now we have everything settled for our trip to Italy. I'm really happy for Oscar, he definitely needs a break from Iraq.

We got the marriage license today, I'm in Ohio the rest of the week, and then Friday we get MARRIED! This is insane, but so right. Actually I will be marrying Oscar's brother on Friday, my proxy husband.

Guess this is what the next 2 yrs of military life will be like, never knowing until the last minute what the hell is going on.

So most of you already know...I'm getting hitched. Yep, so excited. Oscar and I have found the location in Italy where we will get married in September...

This is the place where we will be staying in Positano off the Amafi Coast. We will be saying our vows right there on the balcony, hopefully with an Italian minister that can speak English, otherwise God only knows what I will be saying "I do" to...knowing Oscar that would include acquiring and maintaining his kegerator. Just in case, anyone know how to say kegerator in Italian??

Oscar gets back from Iraq in December so we are going to have a New Years Eve reception. Should be a good time had by all. Austin New Years Part II for most of you. Here is the place where we will have the reception
